These days, Tiny Miracles has grown, and so have Laurien’s aspirations. It now has a direct impact on seven different communities in Mumbai, a total of 3,043 people. Her mission is to end poverty and enable one million people to get out and stay out of poverty by 2030, and to inspire others to do the same.
Lau’s journey is one of simplicity. She saw something wrong and she tried to right it. She made mistakes, she learnt and she got better as she went along. But that was all possible because she listened to her heart and took that first step. At the end of the day, our goal is primarily to encourage people to do just that – take a first step and see where it takes you.
